Let me introduce you to Chewbaaca, aka my 17 yr old Dylan. The other guys at the firehouse renamed him, as he is the biggest one there. He is totally loving doing volunteer work with the department. Today they are burning a house down that was donated for practice. The department is, I mean.
This is Chris ^, he is a friend of Dylan's that is also volunteering. don't tell'em I said so, but they look like little boys playing dress up. Yes, I am a little nervous about the danger, but he can't drive fire vehicle or enter a burning structure until he is 18. Hopefully he will have enough training under his belt by then to be safe. I must say, however, that I am proud of him for choosing to do this on his own, and for taking all the classes required. Class is twice a week at night for 2-3 hours, and then some weekend practicums. Go get'em Chewie!!!

Dunno what those silly firemen are thinking. Dylan has a much better grasp of the English language than a gun toting, overgrown carpet. Although the tempers match rather well.... Love ya Dylan..
