amazed and confused

I stand all amazed at the love Jesus offers me;
Confused at the grace that so fully He proffers me;
I tremble to know that for me He was crucified!
That for me, a sinner, He suffered, He bled and died!!

Oh it is wonderful, that he would care for me enough to die for me!
Oh, it is wonderful! Wonderful to me!

I marvel that He would descend from His throne divine;
To rescue a soul so rebellious and proud as mine!
That He should extend His great love unto such as I
Sufficient to own, to redeem, and to justify!

I think of His hands pierced and bleeding to pay the debt,
Such mercy, such love, and devotion, can I forget?
No! No! I will praise and adore at the mercy seat
Until at the glorified throne I kneel at His feet!

It has been a rough few months. We have been stretched and pulled and tried so intensely that many times we have fallen. Yesterday at church was the Primary sacrament meeting program. The theme was on the Savior and what the children have learned in the last year about Him. Many of the kids testified of the reality and divinity of His existence, and the Spirit was so full and strong there. One of the songs they sang goes:

I know He lives!
I know He loves me!
I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior!

There is nothing more moving than hearing testimony of Jesus Christ, especially from children.I am so grateful for Him, and for my testimony. I know He lives, and He will redeem me, and has atoned for my sins. And I do stand all amazed.

The summer was too short and is gone, and time marches onward. Adam is back at Kimber Academy, and taking seminary. His teacher is Jane Payne and he really loves her and is loving learning about the gospel everyday. We have a new addition built on to the building where Kimber has been meeting since last year, and the senior class meets in that addition. Sean Turner is the teacher this year for the senior class. He has left teaching in the government sector, and is enjoying teaching the entire student- spiritual, mental,physical, emotional. Including the gospel truths in education makes all the difference in learning. When the Spirit is there, learning is enhanced. Love love love  Kimber!!!!!

Paul and I took a 3 day weekend and went to bigtown together. We slept and ate and shopped and ate and slept and ate some more. Totally fun and relaxing! It was awesome to spend some quality time together and reconnect.

I'm loving having Adam. His input is so valuable.

Sorry it's been such a stretch in your world. Stretching seldom feels good.
